"My husband and I got a husky puppy in the summer of 2015 on a total whim and had no idea what we were in for! The first trainer we met with suggested he may not be the dog for us and that we may need to consider giving him up for adoption - this left us feeling very confused and sad because while we agreed he had some behaviors we didn't love, we also saw a sweet side of him. We stumbled upon Anthony and Camp Canine training simply because we wanted a place to be able to board Dash. After a trial run at Camp Canine, they suggested additional training and we decided we would give the training team a try! The first day of training resulted in a phone call and video that should have left us feeling discouraged, but the partnership and optimism of the team at Camp Canine, and Anthony in particular, made us realize we had chosen the right place. It took a couple weeks before Dash stopped crying when we dropped him off but I'll never forget the day he ran up to Anthony, tail wagging, and couldn't wait to spend the day with him. Anthony helped Dash become more confident and obedient all at the same time; he helped Dash to be comfortable with all types of people, making the random strangers touch even welcomed! At the end of the day when we would pick Dash up, Anthony always had a great recap of what they had worked on, and would spend a couple minutes talking with us or showing us their latest successes. Anthony helped us to go from being concerned about our dog to bringing out the sweet side in him so that we can confidently have him around other dogs and other people. Anthony was honest with us about what needed to be worked through with Dash, but it was obvious the whole time that Anthony cared a lot about our dog and was truly committed to ensuring we had a great puppy that we could enjoy being around again! We often find ourselves saying "I wonder what Anthony would think of that" or "Dash, want to go see Anthony again?" - he's a household name and we couldn't be more thankful for his partnership with us, and commitment to our dog."

TRAINER"S NOTE ABOUT DASH:
I have never before or since placed an 16 week old puppy into the "Rehab" category. The first day I got my hands on Dash he left me with both hands bleeding and a puppy tooth stuck into my right hand as a souvenir. I was wearing a pair of $20 gardeners gloves! Dash is now a well adjusted adult husky and a pleasure to be around.

"My husband and I have gone through countless trainers... with our 85 pound English Bulldog. We've even been on the Dog Whisperer with Ceasar Milan who took our dog with him for two months. That should give you an indication of the level of intensity that we were facing with our Bulldog. Having been through some traumatic times with our dog's aggression issues, I quickly learned that a dog's issues are not isolated to the dog itself. A dog's issues, especially when you are dealing with aggression, are 100% a family issue and requires the trainer to understand not only the dog, but the relationship between the dog and its owners and other family members who come into regular contact with the dog. Not only does Anthony understand that every dog does not fit into the same training mold and/or methods, he also understands that dog training involves a sensitivity to and understanding of the dog's owners. To put it another way, Anthony not only speaks dog, but maybe even more importantly, speaks "human" which is not something you will find in most trainers. In addition, Anthony's confidence and ability to handle aggressive dogs and his extensive knowledge of dog behavior makes him one of the best dog trainers that we've ever had and that's saying a lot considering all the dog trainers that we've gone through. Harley
We recently rescued a Cane Corso Mastiff named Harley who had not been socialized and has some aggression issues. He also weighs 120 pounds so the issues concerned us deeply. After one session with Anthony we knew we had found the correct trainer. Anthony brought the issues out immediately and has been teaching us how to properly deal with them. We have only been working with him for a few weeks now but in that time that transformation has been so unbelievably awesome to watch. Anthony brought over some other dogs which totally stressed me out but by the end of that session it was clear Harley just wanted to play and that made my heart soar! I am no longer scared of Harley and he is learning to just enjoy his life as a dog without the stresses that he had before. We still have a long road to go down but are confident that with Anthony by our side we are going to end up with an amazingly loving dog. I would highly recommend Anthony to anyone that has dog issues be them small or large. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Anthony!!!!

TRAINER'S NOTE ABOUT HARLEY
Harley is the first dog that ever really had me scared. When I met him he was out in the yard lunging at the other side of a sliding glass door. The only thought in my mind was how to get out of the house without saying "yes". Kevin and Alana were in way over their heads but somehow before the hour was up Harley had won my heart. He no longer wears his bling when he is out with me and I look forward to every opportunity to show him off in public. He is stunning.

I have a 4 year old Great Dane that lost her way when our old dog passed away. She lost all of her confidence and began not playing well with other dogs. In just one session Anthony really helped us gain our confidence back and we are both now much more calm and balanced. I would highly recommend Anthony, not only is he a kind gentle soul, he really has a love for what he does and for the animals he cares for.

Anthony has trained my dog Bell, and has done an excellent job! He has also gotten me out of many binds, for example: I use a power wheelchair and Bell has crapped on my a lap a few times. He came over to help not only to figure out why she's doing that, but also to help clean me up.

Sailor
Amazing results in 4 training sessions with Anthony! what a change in both our 75 lb. 9 month old white shepherd Sailor and how we communicate with her. Still just a very large puppy, when she saw something she wanted or we returned to a place she had fun, she became extremely excited, would pull at the leash and lunge at other dogs or people. Often times yelping in a loud pitch. This was not inviting behavior to people or dogs.
Anthony showed us that Sailor needs to work for what she wants by doing what we want her to do. Already he has taught us the skills to get her in a calm state and has made taking walks so enjoyable! Recently our young grand kids came to visit and we used these techniques to show them how to get her in a calm state as well. This worked so well our little 6 year old was able to handle her when we went for a walk. We were all amazed at this change.
You can see that Anthony loves what he does and almost immediately the dog learns to respect and love him. My goal is to be able to take Sailor anywhere and also to have her off leash and be confident that she will respond to what I want her to do. Anthony teaches you how to communicate with your dog in a special way. We have more sessions scheduled with Anthony. I will send updates on our progress. Highly recommend Anthony, you will see results.

Charlie
Anthony is quite simply one of the finest individuals I have encountered in my almost 75 years. You He is a dog trainer, yes, but oh so much more. He has taken out King Charles Cavalier puppy at two months old, and has molded him into the most loving, obedient, eager to learn dog I have ever had. Charlie is now one year old plus a couple of weeks, and a joy. He is intelligent, and when we mention Anthony's name Charlie goes into major excitement mode. Antony picks up Charlie for a day of play, learning and work with other dogs he is working with. Charlie is now completely socialized with dogs much, much bigger than he, and is a confident companion to any of Anthony's other charges. when they (Anthony and half a dozen dogs of all sizes) go to the beach for hours of play, Anthony sends us videos via smart phone of Charlie with his pals. Anthony can take Charlie for a few hours to a few weeks when we travel... Charlie actually would prefer we stay much longer... he has such a grand life in the company of Anthony.
Anthony Sorosky is professional, always on time, and truly a "dog whisperer." Anthony even installed around the complete perimeter of our yard, plastic netting we had purchased to keep Charlie from escaping in his first few weeks at home.
